The Burnley is cut in 100% organic cotton at 170gsm - a weight that moves with you without losing its shape. Adjustable straps let you set the fit once and it stays there. The front is structured; the back has give. The armhole is cut high enough that nothing shifts and nothing spills. Bra straps stay hidden. Wear it on its own or layer it through cooler months.

The Burnley - Fit Guide
Go with the size that fits your largest measurement. The shirred back gives you real stretch on top of cut ease, so there's more forgiveness here than in our structured styles.
True to size. The back is shirred, so there's built-in stretch as well as room in the cut, and it flares out over the hip too. It's the one maxi in the range, and the length's been kept from running too long - though maxi lengths in general are the ones most likely to need shortening if you're petite.
The Burnley is a strap style, not a sleeve - no upper-arm coverage here.
Yes – the cut sits high under the arm for fuller coverage and to prevent side spillage.
We've deliberately placed the straps and underarm cut to hide most bras. Bras with wider coverage - sports bras and similar may show.
A little, on the first wash - expect some give, not a size change. Wash gently below 30°C, skip the dryer, line dry instead. Do not dry clean.
Holds its shape early on, softens with every wash - gets better with wear, not worse.
We've deliberately gone with a heavier weight - it holds its shape rather than clinging or crushing. Cotton breathes well, so it's still built for a hot day, and the weight means it layers easily into cooler months too.
We don't currently offer a dedicated petite or tall range - sizing runs standard across the board. Even though The Burnley is a maxi, it hasn't been cut super long, so it shouldn't overwhelm a petite frame the way some maxis do. Read the length measurement carefully and measure it against yourself.
