The Bridge - Fit Guide
Go with the size that fits your bust – The Bridge skirt flares out so it's forgiving over the waist and hips. Structured linen doesn't have give, so it's easier to take in at the waist than fight fabric that's too tight through the chest.
True to size through the bodice, then looser through the gathered skirt below - it skims rather than clings through the hips. Fuller through the bust? Size up so the button placket sits flat, not pulling.
We've spent real time getting the button placement right on every button-front style - spaced so the neckline sits at the right depth whether fully done up or left open at the top, and so the placket lies flat. Fullest through the bust? Size up. That's what keeps it from coming open.
Cut longer, covering most of the upper arm, and cut to flare slightly outward so they don't sit tight.
Yes. Nothing shows through, and the linen is soft enough that it won't rub against your bra line.
A little, on the first wash - expect some give, not a size change. Wash gently below 30°C, skip the dryer, line dry instead. Settles after the first wear.
Holds its structure early on, softens with every wash. Designed to get better with wear, not wear out.
We've deliberately gone with a heavier weight - it holds its shape and drapes properly rather than clinging or crushing. Linen breathes and wicks moisture away from the skin, so it's still built for a hot day, and layers easily into spring and autumn too.
We don't currently offer a dedicated petite or tall range - sizing runs standard across the board. The Bridge is knee-length, which tends to be the most forgiving length across different heights - should suit most people, petite or tall.
